The WIS MDC is 21 years' strong, and in that time has raised over $35.1 million for breast cancer research which has been donated to the National Breast Cancer Foundation and the WIS MDC has had 1.27 million participants. Our participants love and respect the event, which is a feat most brands are chasing: loyalty, a sense of community, and trust.
The event raises funds to donate to the National Breast Cancer Foundation for research in order to make a difference for the 1 in 7 women and 1 in 675 men diagnosed with breast cancer in Australia each year.
The event offers the opportunity to engage and make mother's day mean more in many ways, be it as a volunteer, fundraiser, as a team or as an individual participant, or an individual.
Registrations for participating in the event opened on 4 February 2019 and the volunteer portal opens on Monday 25 February.
