Child care benefit

Child care payments may be made on a discretionary basis for financial members of the BLF, CFMEU and Plumbers Union whose partner dies and who have children aged up to thirteen (13) years of age who are dependents of the member.  

Converge

This workers assistance program provides confidential, professional and free counselling with support to all financial members of the BLF, CFMEU and Plumbers Union, along with their immediate family members.

Dental Benefit

The dental benefit covers all financial members of the BLF, CFMEU and Plumbers Union for you and your immediate family will be covered for accidental damage to teeth which occurs outside of working hours.

The dental benefit is managed by a Discretionary fund.

Funeral Benefit

Financial members of the BLF, CFMEU and Plumbers Union are covered by a funeral benefit of $10,000 in the event of death of either the member / the members wife, husband or defacto / the members dependent children up to the age of 16.
