In 2004, an additional trust, the B.E.R.T. Fund No. 2, was established for the purposes of complying with the Fringe Benefits Tax Assessment Act 1986 (Cth) as an approved worker entitlement fund. Contrubutions made on behalf of members after the 1st of April 2004 will be held in this trust. No employer contributions can be accepted into the original B.E.R.T. Fund as at the 31st of March 2004.
